Ever hear of the TED talks? TED stands for “Technology, Entertainment, Design” and the talks are funded by the private non-profit Sapling Foundation to spread “ideas worth sharing”. These ideas delve not only into the before-mentioned categories, but also into various aspects of culture and art as well. Somewhere, maybe from the engineering decks of Spaceship Earth, Bucky Fuller is smiling.
Anyways, all that aside (no, go check out the site after this), the TED Foundation has lovingly given their name and reputation to the following viral promotion of the upcoming Ridley Scott film Prometheus. The video features one Peter Weyland, as in Weyland-Yutani the evil corporation in what series of films?
Noo, not Ferris Bueller, ALIEN — of which supposedly Prometheus is a prequel.
Prometheus is set to come to theaters this June.
